Program Highlights
As a family owned business, our truck drivers are extremely important and valuable to us – just like family. This is why we place a great deal of importance on providing you with a comprehensive training program that will equip you with all the necessary tools and knowledge to drive safely and maintain a successful career with us.
We offer a quality Driver Training program and Entry Level Driver Training for drivers who have less than 12 months verifiable driving experience or zero experience.
Program highlights include:
Paid training – Since training is a required part of the job, and important to your success, we believe you should be compensated for it.
“Hands on” training – This enables you to apply what you learn right away – and helps you to better retain it, too.
Supplemental training – We provide commputer based online training/retraining.
High tech – All of our training is performed with “state of the art” technology and late model equipment (e.g. Anti-lock brakes, Roll Stability, On-Guard, Lane Departure, Electronic Logs).
Local training – All orientation and training takes place at local terminals.
Multiple trainers – Combined with our sister company Quest Liner, we have nearly 50 highly qualified and knowledgeable Driver Trainers nationally, one Regional Trainer, and two Corporate Trainers.
Specialized training – Our Driver Trainers are also utilized to assist with special projects and/or emergency situations.
Retraining – Driver Training meetings and retraining offered annually.

Foodliner Company Truck Drivers - Preferred Requirements
Must be at least 22 years old
Possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL-Class A)
Maintain a safe and clean driving record
Possess two years’ verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience OR one year experience plus driving school certification
Have a working knowledge of DOT regulations
Meet the medical standards set by the DOT
Pass a DOT drug screen and physical
