Driver approved: Foodliner a finalist for Best Fleets award
It is said that the top honors come from those who know you best. This is the situation Foodliner currently finds itself in after being named a finalist for an award recognizing the nation’s top fleets for which to drive.
Truckload Carriers Association and CarriersEdge recently notified Foodliner leaders that the organization has been selected as a finalist for the 2023 Best Fleets to Drive Forâ award.
Best Fleets honors are noteworthy as it’s a grassroots-driven contest. To be eligible, companies with 10 or more trucks, must be nominated by one of their company drivers or owner-operators. Following the nomination, companies are asked to complete a corporate questionnaire and be interviewed. The fleet’s drivers are then surveyed regarding their experiences with the company.
Overall, 95 fleets were selected as finalists for this year’s award. On Jan. 31, the field will be narrowed to the top-20, as well as five innovative Fleets to Watch will be announced. In March, winners in large and small carrier divisions will be named during the Truckload Carriers Association’s annual convention.
Following the data collection process, winners are determined after companies are scored based on their program offerings, driver satisfaction ratings, as well as on results from safety performance and driver-retention programs.
The Foodliner team is honored to be a finalist in just its second year participating in the nominating process.
